This year marks the 6th Annual “Public Safety Day” in Baltimore County. The Baltimore County Police Community Relations Council has announced that this year’s event will take place on September 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The public is invited to come to the Hunt Valley Towne Centre located at 118 Shawan Road, Hunt Valley, Md. 21030, to view high-tech equipment used by trained staff for safety at home, at work and at play. There are other demonstrations that will inform and entertain all who attend Public Safety Day. The following is a list of what to expect:
Police dogs in action
Tactical demonstrations
Police Marine and Aviation displays
Put-Out-A-Fire demonstration
Antique police and fire cars
Smoke House Fire display
Firefighters Rappelling
There will also be a kids’ activity area and lots more for everyone.
Information will be provided by Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments; the Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen’s Association; the Baltimore County Sheriff’s Office; the Baltimore County Office of Fair Practices and Community Affairs; and other local and state agencies.
